Flex-Kleen’s high efficiency particulate air filter (HEPA) is designed with bag in/bag out capability to meet the strictest application needs. Filter housings, which are an all welded design that can hold both gasket and gel seal filters, are custom designed to meet each individual application.

Depending on the user requirements, the housing can be designed to incorporate prefilter, HEPA and adsorber filter sections into a single, standalone unit. Housings can also incorporate test sections and transitions to customer ductwork.

The bag in/bag out design has a ribbed inlet collar and a PVC bag attachment inside each door. This creates a barrier between maintenance personnel and the contaminated filters to protect workers from harmful particulate and the air stream inside the unit.

Each row of filters has a separate access door to allow for individual filter change out. A locking mechanism is included for each filter section and filter removal trays can be provided as an option.

All bag in/bag out housings are factory pressure decay tested in accordance with ANSI/ASME-N510-1995 and reaffirmed up to +10” WG. Units are manufactured in accordance with the quality criteria listed in ASME AG-1 and component traceability can be provided upon request.
